The PVC material is chemically resistant at the molecular level. It does not react with acid rain, alkaline industrial fallout, salt spray, or common chemical vapors (such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and sulfur dioxide). This is fundamentally different from galvanized or coated metal sheets, where corrosion begins the moment the protective layer is scratched — which happens during transport, cutting, or fastener installation. With PVC, there is no protective layer to breach.

Freeze-thaw durability: After 10 complete freeze-thaw cycles of testing, the sheet shows no blistering, delamination, or visible cracking. This matters for regions with winter temperatures below freezing, where materials that absorb moisture can fail from internal ice expansion.


3. B1 Fire Rating for Code Compliance
The T1070 sheet achieves B1 fire performance classification (flammable but self-extinguishing when the ignition source is removed). This meets the fire safety requirements for most commercial and industrial construction applications, including factories, warehouses, and public buildings where building codes mandate specific fire ratings for roofing materials.

PVC's inherent chlorine content (~57% by weight) gives it natural flame-retardant properties — when exposed to fire, it chars and forms a carbonaceous layer that slows further combustion, rather than dripping and spreading flame like some thermoplastic materials.

4. Self-Cleaning Surface — Lower Maintenance Cost
The ASA surface layer is engineered with a smooth, low-surface-energy finish that produces a "lotus leaf effect." Rainwater beads on the surface and rolls off, carrying dust, dirt, and light debris with it. In most environments, the roof maintains an acceptably clean appearance with natural rainfall alone, reducing the need for manual cleaning — a meaningful cost factor in large industrial facilities where rooftop access requires safety equipment and scheduled downtime.


5. High Load-Bearing Capacity with Low Dead Weight
The trapezoidal profile geometry provides structural rigidity that supports standard industrial purlin spacing (typically ≤660 mm) without excessive deflection. At the same time, PVC's low density means the sheet weighs significantly less than metal or concrete tile roofing of equivalent span capacity. Lower dead weight reduces load on the building's primary structure, which can translate to lighter (and less expensive) steel framing — especially valuable for large-span industrial buildings.

6. Recyclable and Environmentally Compliant
At the end of its service life, the T1070 sheet can be recycled — the PVC material is ground, reprocessed, and used in secondary applications such as pipes, flooring, or lower-grade construction products. The product also meets the requirements of China's Environmental Labeling certification (commonly referred to as the "Ten Rings" label), indicating compliance with national standards for environmentally preferable building materials.
